Battersby Junction from Battersby Moor

The CD contains (approx) 2 pages about Battersby Junction
Battersby Junction is a separate and markedly different village to Battersby, though they are less than a mile apart. There are two rows of terraced cottages sweeping round towards the station, which still has an active train service to Whitby and Middlesbrough. The mineral line to Rosedale once curved past the cottages on its way to Greenhow Incline, while a line to Stokesley, Picton and Yarm ran behind them away to the left.
