Battersby Moor

Track across Battersby Moor

The CD contains (approx) 3 pages about Battersby Moor
Battersby Moor takes its name from a tiny village only one mile away as the crow flies, but the two are separated by a steep scarp slope. The broad track across the summer heather in bloom is the Cleveland Way, and it joins the Kildale to Baysdale road about a mile ahead (where there is a tiny yellow speck). In the opposite direction, the track runs over Ingleby Moor to Bloworth Crossing, where it meets the track bed of the former railway line to Rosedale.
