| On passing the jetty at Skinningrove harbour, the scene changes suddenly to one of beauty, often deserted apart from the odd dog-walker. Cattersty Sands stretch for a mile or so in a gentle curve with the grassy slopes of Cattersty Cliff behind. The Cleveland Way climbs onto the cliff top and provides panoramic views back towards Skinningrove from the headland in the distance. This leads on to Hunt Cliff and Saltburn. |
