| The coastline between Whitby and Scarborough has few road access points. One is from Cloughton, where the A171 to Whitby bends left, and a minor road continues straight on towards Ravenscar. At this junction, a right turn onto a single track road leads to the small, rocky inlet of Cloughton Wyke, above which there is parking for a few cars. To the south are the cliffs of Hundale Point with the rocks of Hundale Scar projecting into the sea. |
