Cloughton Wyke Introduction

Cloughton Wyke

The CD has (approx) 11 pages around Cloughton Wyke.
The coastline between Whitby and Scarborough has few road access points. One is from Cloughton, where the A171 to Whitby bends left, and a minor road continues straight on towards Ravenscar. At this junction, a right turn onto a single track road leads to the small, rocky inlet of Cloughton Wyke, above which there is parking for a few cars. To the south are the cliffs of Hundale Point with the rocks of Hundale Scar projecting into the sea.
