The CD has (approx) 19 pages about the Derwent Valley. |
| The River Derwent has its source in the National Park on Fylingdales Moor, to the north of Langdale Forest. It passes within 5 miles of the sea near Scarborough and has a man made flood channel in the Sea Cut. Its natural course, however takes it along the Forge Valley to East Ayton, which is the limit of our coverage here. The Derwent continues its unlikely diversion via Malton , the Ouse and the Humber in a tortuous journey to the sea. |
