| Fangdale Beck is a tiny hamlet just off the B1257 road, about 2 miles south of Chop Gate. A stream of the same name runs beside the road and in front of the houses. It is in an isolated position, 7 miles from Great Broughton and 10 miles from Helmsley, but in a beautiful setting, tucked up close to the slopes of Bilsdale West Moor, with the prominent TV Transmitter mast just a mile away to the north west. |
