| Fat Betty is the affectionate name for this squat stone, one of a line marking the boundary between the lands of two estates. It is a short distance along the road to Rosedale, which branches off the Blakey Ridge road near Ralph's Cross. Fat Betty is technically a cross; the rounded top piece is indented in the shape of a cross, but the carving does not cut right through the stone. |
