![]() The CD has (approx) 4 pages about Glaisdale. |
| Glaisdale stands above the mouth of a side valley of the same name. It is a rambling village, mostly on a hillside overlooking Eskdale, ten miles from Whitby. It is made up mainly of established buildings from the iron mining era, with a little modern in-fill. Other settlements are scattered around the undulating fields. The road to Egton crosses the railway and river near Beggar's Bridge before climbing up Limber Hill (1 in 3). |
