Hambleton Hills

The CD has (approx) 20 pages about the Hambleton Hills.
The Hambleton Hills stretch south from Osmotherley to the Vale of Pickering. The rolling foothills are farmed, and much of the steep scarp slope is covered in forest, with conspicuous rocky outcrops near Sutton Bank. On top, the plateau, at a height of 300 metres, is mainly forest or open moor to the north, but is farmed to the north of Sutton Bank. The course of the Hambleton Drove Road can be followed over the moors, while the Cleveland Way footpath tends to keep more closely to the edge of the scarp slope.
