| Hutton-le-Hole was one of the earliest tourist hotspots on the North York Moors, easily reached from the A170 near Kirbymoorside (3 miles) or from the north leaving the A172 to take the route through Castleton. It is spread on either side of Hutton Beck with space to handle the daily influx of visitors to the Ryedale Folk Museum. The trend towards holiday homes has created something of an artificial atmosphere even though the village itself is immaculate. |
