Kildale

Kildale VillageThe CD has (approx) 15 pages about Kildale.
Kildale is a small village in a tiny valley of the same name, about 5 miles east of Great Ayton on the minor road route to Castleton and the Esk Valley beyond. To the south is Warren Moor, a former site of mining, and north is Easby Moor, with Captain Cook's monument. The village lives up to its name in not having a pub, but it does have a post office, a tea room, a grand hall, the site of a castle, and a railway service to Middlesbrough and Whitby.
