Levisham

Village Street: LevishamThe CD has (approx) 4 pages about Levisham.
Levisham is reached on the A169, turning left 4 miles north of Pickering to Lockton, and continuing for a further half mile, involving steep gradients across a narrow valley. It is an attractive village of neat stone cottages built either side of the straight village street, well-spaced behind tidy greens at each side. In comparison to nearby Lockton, it has a more open 'feel'. It is one of the highest villages on the moors at 175 metres.
