| The Moors Centre, half a mile east of Danby, is a tourist information centre run by the North York Moors National Park, open daily in the summer, and at weekends over the winter. The former lodge is set in 13 acres of parkland, with traditional craft displays outside. Inside, there are permanent displays showing the geological and economic development of the Moors, as well as occasional exhibitions. Refreshments are available. |
