The CD has (approx) 5 pages about Newton on Rawcliffe. |
| Newton-on-Rawcliffe is about 4 miles north of Pickering on a minor road which continues through Cropton Forest and then over Wheeldale Moor to the Eskdale. It is one of the most attractive villages on the North York Moors, with traditional stone cottages set around an undulating green. A large duckpond acts as a central feature. The village is directly above Newtondale and a short walk leads to good views along the valley. |
