Oldstead

Oldstead is a tiny village, lying along a narrow gap in the Howardian Hills. Although it is only a mile from Kilburn and less than two from Coxwold, it is served only by a very narrow lane that twists between the steep slopes. A backdrop of rolling fields and (mainly) deciduous woodland provides an attractive setting.
