Pickering

PickeringThe CD has (approx) 7 pages about Pickering.
Pickering is a small market town just a mile outside the National Park, on the A170 to Scarborough (17 miles) and Thirsk (27 miles). The approaches to the town are typified by long rows of these stone terraced houses. A stone built motte and bailey castle stands above the town and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs steam trains to Grosmont (17 miles). Near the centre is the Beck Isle Museum.
