Port Mulgrave

Port MulgraveThe CD has (approx) 5 pages about Port Mulgrave.
The cliff footpath can be seen following the cliff edge above the old harbour (out of view below). The hamlet of Port Mulgrave is made up of a few rows of miners' cottages, some bungalows and a pub, along a lane half a mile from Hinderwell. Rosedale Cliffs, below the village, were mined for iron ore in the 19th century. In 1858, the mine buildings were badly damaged by cliff subsidence.
