| This is undoubtedly one of the more attractive boating 'lakes' in North Yorkshire, ranking alongside Peasholm Park in Scarborough and the Nidd at Knaresborough. Families will be pleased to know that the charges are very reasonable in comparison to its competitors. The more adventurous will manage to navigate upstream to Sleights and back within an hour, but if you do, beware of running aground in the drier summer months if you have four in a boat! |
