The CD has (approx) 7 pages about Ryedale |
| The River Rye is formed from several streams rising on Great Arden, Whorlton, Snilesworth and Bilsdale West Moors. This view is typical of Ryedale between Hawnby and Rievaulx, with a very narrow valley floor and farms perched on hillsides surrounded by mixed woodland. Below Hawnby, the Rye merges with the River Seph from Bilsdale, passes Rievaulx and sweeps through Duncombe Park in a huge curve before skirting Helmsley. |
