The CD has over 20 pages about Saltburn. |
| In the 19th Century, Old Saltburn was a tiny fishing hamlet in the shadow of Hunt Cliff. Henry Pease, a Teesside businessman, established the Victorian seaside resort, when the railway arrived. Saltburn was known for its pier and cliff lift, its fair, boating lake and miniature railway (rebuilt 2001) beside Skelton Beck, leading to the Valley Gardens. After a period of decline, Saltburn has been regenerated and once again attracts large numbers of day visitors. |
