Sutton Bank

Sutton Bank from Roulston Scar The CD has (approx) 12 pages about Sutton Bank.
The Hambleton Escarpment rises from the Vale of Mowbray to a height of 300 metres, and nowhere is this more dramatic than at Sutton Bank. The limestone outcrops of Roulston Scar and Whitestone Cliff overlook Lake Gormire and the wooded slopes of Hood Hill. From the observation point near the Visitor Centre, visibility is often over thirty miles. Beyond Roulston Scar, the White Horse of Kilburn is the most prominent local landmark.
