Sutton Bank 
Lake Gormire 2

Lake Gormire is reached 'on the level' using footpaths from Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe, Thirlby or past Gormire Farm. Two tracks lead down from the top of the escarpment, combining to form a three mile circular walk from Sutton Bank, including a circuit of the lake. These paths require stout footwear and sureness of foot. Views across the lake are restricted by the dense woodland, but the path round comes close to the water at several points.
