| Roulston Scar is like a buttress at the south-west
corner of the North York Moors. A line of three Yorkshire power
stations stand out on the horizon, and York Minster is just visible
on a clear day. There are views north to the Hambleton Hills, east
into the vale of Pickering and, closer to hand, Kilburn village and
woodland, all within the space of 200 metres along the path! Then
you can turn round and watch the gliders taking off and
landing! |
