Sutton Bank

The forest below Sutton Bank has numerous paths for walking. (It is a working forest, so take heed of warning signs when work is in progress.) Where the tracks emerge into a cleared area, you are rewarded with sudden glimpses of Whitestone Cliff, Kilburn, the White Horse and (here) Roulston Scar. The track follows round to White Horse Car Park, from where a steep staircase climbs onto the Scar itself, right beside the White Horse figure.
