At the top of Sutton Bank, there are two car parking areas to the left of the A170 (2002 charge £1.50 all day). The first is about 150m from the National Park Visitor Centre and is ideal for those wanting a short walk across the main road to the spectacular viewing point over the Vale of Mowbray. TAKE CARE! you cannot see oncoming traffic from either direction until it is relatively close. A second car park is directly opposite the entrance.
